2nd Annual Giving Tradition

Last year we started a tradition after we received these really cool banks. The banks have three sections for saving money- Save, Share, and Spend. So last year we took all of our "share" money, added it up and then decided who we were going to give it to. We had lots of fun delivering our donations.

This year we were a little late in adding up our "share" banks, but we finally did on Christmas Day. This year we saved even more then last year! My brother Liam saved the most with $28.55, then me with $21.31 and finally my sister with $9.06 (she likes to shop!). We decided to give some money to the Roger William's Zoo for their new Giraffe habitat. We also gave some to Dream Day, which is a camp on Cape Cod for kids with special needs. We have gone there a bunch of times in the summer- and we love it!

Since my Mema and Grandpa Al were going on a trip to Haiti to help people at a clinic, we gave them some money for the kids there, and we sent some school supplies like pencils and crayons.

We have money for the Chatham Shark Center, but it is closed for the winter so we are going to wait until they open again so we can  bring our donation in person.

Last, but not least, we donated to one of our favorite places in Chatham: The Eldredge Library! We love our librarians Ms. Tammy and Ms. Sarah. They always help us when we visit and will order things we suggest for the library. Here is a picture of us bringing in our donation.

Just today, they made us a bag of library "stuff" so we could play after they learned that we like to set up a library at home.
